Pianist Gusztáv Fenyő continues his ‘Vienna Series’ highlighting the musical and geographical links between the four most significant and influential Classical composers. Schubert’s noble and serene last work for piano, the great B flat Sonata, D960, completed just weeks before his death in 1828, is the focus of the next concert on Friday 27th April. The series concludes on Friday 18th May with a programme devoted entirely to Beethoven and featuring his magnificent ‘Eroica’ Variations.
We hope you won’t miss this unique opportunity to hear these specially-devised programmes of music by four extraordinary masters in the elevating atmosphere of St Bride’s in the West End of Glasgow.
